This is why we need a king size bed

Carter giving Brook a piggy back ride

Ok so it has been forever since I posted last. I swear the time flies and since I work on the computer doing customer support for the company Brent works for I hardly ever want to, and don't have time to, just get on for leisure.
We have been staying busy busy busy. Ever since we got back from our cruise Brooklyn has been fighting an ear infection. It first started as a double and now we are just down to the left ear that will not drain. So we have had many sleepness nights! And since she has pretty much decided our bed is better than hers so has Carter. He starts in his bed and by 5 or 6 he decides to come join the party and sleep with the rest of us. I keep telling myself "let them be little this won't last and one day I'll wish I would have enjoyed Carter's body in-between my legs or on my head, and Brooklyn snuggled right next to me." WE SERIOUSLY NEED A KING SIZE BED!!!
On top of Brook's ear infections she is getting two more teeth so she has been one "up and down" baby. Brook's pediatrician has referred us to a ears, nose and throat doctor who we see on the 12 of this month. They can determine if she needs tubes. So since I'm terrified of brooklyn getting tubes I've been taking her to a chiropractor to see if we can get her ears to drain before I go to the specialist. I'm praying this works.
Then it seems as though I needed something else to worry about.......on Saturday night I noticed I had 2 bug bites on my leg in the calf area and one was itching and burning on Sunday I didn't really seem to notice it but by monday one of the marks was swollen, hard and causing me TONS of PAIN! I was ready to jump out of my skin as it hurt so bad. It hurts to walk on the leg feeling like I've done some damage to my calf muscle. I decided to go to the doctor and he looked and looked at it coming to the conclusion that he didn't really think it was a bug bite......he was leaning more towards blood clot.......but he wasn't sure. So he went over a list of signs I need to watch for and kept repeating them so I wouldn't forget and then gave me an antibiotic in case of any infection, told me to ice and keep my leg up. Hmmm.......that's just a tad bit impossible as I have two very active kids and a house to maintain. He told me to call in 2 days if the pain hasn't completely gone. He also thought it would be wise to give me a tetanus shot, ya know just in case. I'm thinking I was quite a sucker for that one. A doctor once told me that flu shots are just a major sale and they are told to push them like crazy. I think this was the same thing and I fell for it. Oh well. But I must say I haven't had a shot hurt like this, the nurse gave it to me in the top part of my shoulder and it hurts all the way up to my neck. CRAZY!
Ok so I'll stop complaining......life really isn't that bad.
We are also starting to look at houses to take advantage of all the low prices of homes and low interest rate. We are debating whether or not to keep the house we have as a rental or sale it. Not sure if I want to deal with the headache of rental property, but there are some good benefits too. So We shall see what we decide.
Anyway, we hope you all are doing well and I'm going to try to be better at posting! Love to all!
