HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

It was freezing cold today. We ventured out with our friends the Brunsons and their twin boys (a week younger than Carter) and went to their trunk-or-treat and had a hot dog and some hot cider. The smell and taste got me totally excited for the upcoming holidays. Carter didn't really mind the little chicken costume and we got some great laughs out of him. The boys love playing together. I am trying to get back in shape so Collette goes to the gym for an hour while I watch the boys, then I go. Today was the first day. It went pretty well. The boys are hilarious to watch. Dallin is actually walking, and tonight I think Carter wanted to compete and took some more steps. He's getting more brave. He loves to walk on his tippy-toes.
We enjoyed our Halloween day, to Carter it was just another ordinary day. Thank goodness for cameras we can look back on this day and show Carter that we actually went through all the trouble of putting him in this poofy chicken costume...it's all for the memories. Well it's late and I'm going to need all the energy for my workout tomorrow...I'm so out of shape and have realized how long it takes me to just burn off the little bite size candybars that Jim and Helen brought from Canada. So addicting they just seem to cling to me adding more padding to my behind. Oh well, they taste so yummy! I'll work extra hard tomorrow.....for now I'll just sleep.

It's about TIME

<

Hello everyone... I am finally breaking down and getting a blog for us. I hope you'll join the journey with us in chasing our dreams. It seems like right now we don't have any time together.... with Brent being so busy with work and school (bless his heart). None the less we are loving our crazy lives and enjoying Carter so much. We are so happy to have him in our family. He makes our lives so much more worth living. I can't remember what life was like with out him. I only thought life was exciting now it really is. I love the fact that I am able to stay at home. I was a little nervous before Carter about staying home, but I couldn't imagine it any other way!!! We wish you all a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I hope that the weather is good for you guys up north. I'll post pictures of Carter and his costume tomorrow.
