DIRT!!!!

Yesterday we did some much needed yard work and well I let Carter roam free!!! He absolutely loves the dirt. Anywhere he finds it he digs and throws and eats it. He was very freaked out by the trimmer and was yelling at his dad to "stop". He didn't like the mower either at first until his dad let him push it and then he didn't want to stop. So he followed his dad around the yard begging to push. He then ended up in front of the mower and thought it was after him. It was so funny to watch him just do whatever he wanted! I figure at some point I just have to let him be and explore the outdoors. Dirt can always be swept off the cement a bath can do wonders.

Take each day as it comes

Well we all have been pretty busy! Brent is trying to get so many papers and projects done before he goes to Atlanta for work next week, then the next week will be the end of the semester for him and he'll get a 2 week break before summer school starts......which will be absolutely crazy! It'll be tough for all of us but there is an end in sight....2 more years left.

Carter and I have been staying busy in our days. He is loving to climb everywhere which means many bruises for him. He's definately a boy through and through and a 16 month old. He is loving to dance and sing constantly. Yesterday I was doing laundry and he was sitting on the couch just talking away, I thought he must have my phone ( he loves phones ) then I heard something weird so I went to check on him and sure enough he really was talking to someone. He wouldn't let me have the phone and just kept talking like crazy, I realized it was his dad thank goodness!!! He'd been talking to him for 5 minutes, I'm just glad it was Brent not some crazy person. He keeps me laughing through the day because really sometimes you just have to laugh and tickle the heck out of them instead of getting mad or frustrated when they constantly are interested in things they shouldn't be. He has really learned to pick "Jesus" out of pictures and at nursery went around to all the pictures pointing to him saying Jesus. I didn't even really know he knew who Jesus was. It really is amazing how he just knows when I haven't really taught him.

The baby is now kicking like crazy and she must be positioned on my bladder because I seriously go every half an hour sometimes. It's the worst pain to have just gone and all the sudden have to be running back to the bathroom. I keep thinking maybe a bladder infection but it's not...she must just think the bladder is her little soccer ball.

Anyway a reflection on the events that have happened in Virginia....It seriously is so sad!!! I couldn't imagine the terror that went through the students' mind. It makes me realize how in a minute our whole lives can change. On Sunday we had our home teachers over and one of our home teachers shared with us a tragic story in his own life. They had a baby girl a month after Carter was born and when she was 4 months old they all were in a tragic car accident that almost took his wife and took their baby girl. Listening to some of the details just broke my heart. He and his wife weren't sealed in the temple and last month had the opportunity to be sealed together and to be sealed to their little girl. So as busy as life seems to get, take each day with a breath of fresh air and try to love each moment. Sometimes I think my trials are hard until I hear someone else's and I realize how much I have to be thankful for and at any given time it could change. So love to all and I hope that all of you are doing great and enjoying spring and making it through some of the craziness each of you have.
I'll try and post pictures later.... I haven't been the best at taking pictures lately.

A little clip of the ultrasound

here is a little piece of the ultrasound when we were trying to get a good shot of her face. Let's hope it works.

BOY OR GIRL???????

Today was the big day......or was it? We have been having a big debate about whether or not we were going to find out what we were having and today was the dr.'s appointment. The ultrasound tech immediately asked if we wanted to know and we just couldn't resist so we said yes. The ultrasound started and the lady saw right away and went right to the area....so it IS A GIRL!!!! She was really sure (being that I never believe them) and saw it throughout the whole ultrasound. Everything else went really well, except this little girl didn't really want to give us a good profile or for us to see her face real well. That is exactly how Carter was. Little stinkers just don't realize how much we want a good look or picture of them. So here is the best we got. It's still so crazy to think that I'm half way there and by August we will have 2 children. I'm so excited and can't wait to meet this little girl!

Carter is growing like crazy and keeping us on our feet constantly. He still has some major attitude and at the same time is so sweet giving me tons of kisses and hugs and kissing my tummy constantly.....he did that even before I was pregnant. We are enjoying some nice weather and so that means we are outside lots! Thank goodness we have a large backyard and not too many things that he can't get into. Of course he loves the dirt ( I was a complete fool thinking he would never notice it) he even likes to eat it. He's really starting to play with his toys and talk a whole bunch of gibberish on the phone. His vocabulary is growing which makes me realize how much he listens.

Brent is staying so busy with school and work! He's doing so good with his school papers and assignments....getting the highest grade in his class. I constantly wonder how he does it all and does it all so well.....I know that beside from just being one smart feller he's blessed so much and we definately have the help of our Heavenly Father. It's hard to see how some things will work out or to see the whole outcome when things are so stressful, but it's so nice to know that there's a higher power and that we are being watched over and Heavenly Father is highly aware of what is going on.

Anyway, as for me....I am doing quite well. I'm trying to eat healthy and get some exercise and on Tuesday just when things were really going well for me I decided to get out and take Carter for a walk. Feeling so good to get some fresh air I started speed walking and going for quite a long walk when all of the sudden the stroller collapsed and I went over Carter, falling on the pavement (my face breaking my fall) And just when I thought that I had gotten away without anyone seeing this ordeal a nice man came running out of his office asking if I was okay. More embarrassed than anything I tried to just tell him that it was a little fall and we're fine....only for him to tell me my face was bleeding. Now feeling even more stupid because I couldn't feel that I hurt my face I said oh we live around the corner I'll be fine....and hurried on my way, making sure the stroller was locked and I took it much slower. Well my tooth went into my lip and my face got some scuffs from the cement. Other than a swollen lip and bruised teeth I'm ok. It must have been quite the sight. I'm just glad that I didn't loose my front teeth over a stupid fall. And I'm so thankful that Carter just got smashed for a moment...no falls for him. So to all you walkers be careful and make sure you have a nice quality stroller.

Well love to all and I hope everyone has a HAPPY EASTER!!! I've been trying so hard not to go crazy over the candy.....not doing the greatest job. We're thinking of all you!

Home Again

Well we all survived our trip to Las Vegas. We had a fun time and really enjoyed the great weather!!! It was just right- the low 80's. Jurnee and the boys are getting so big and kept Carter going non-stop!!! He loved Jurnee and was trying to be so helpful to put her suckie in and even feed her. He gave her many hugs and kisses and tonight when I was uploading our pics from the trip he saw "baby Jurnee" and went nuts. He of course loved playing with boys trying to act like he was just their age.

We were able to go shopping and we even made it to the strip a couple of times......not long though as the strip and casinos are filled with smoke and definately not kid friendly. Brent was able to go with Ryan to work on Wednesday and enjoyed getting to see some live action. On Thursday Brent went with Ryan again to a seminar which Brent has to do a paper on, so it worked out quite well.

Thanks to Sonia, Ryan and kids for letting us come and making the trip a great one. We also got to see Brent's dad for a few days which was a real treat!!! It was nice getting to see him and visit even though it was short....we're definately looking forward to making the trip up north to get to spend time with more family and let Carter really get to know his grandma Helen and Grandpa Jim.

I hope everyone is doing great especially the newest little nephews Zack and Forrest. We can't wait until we get to meet them.

RASCAL FLATTS CONCERT!!!!!

Last night we were able to be kids again and go to the Rascal Flatts concert and let loose! We got a sitter for the first time and at first I thought I might have a panic attack but I got Carter to sleep 10 minutes before the sitter got there and he slept the whole time so I did worse than he did. He didn't even know we were out playing.
So onto the concert......it was AWESOME! We went to Rascal Flatts when I was 8 months pregnant with Carter and it was amazing then and we didn't know if it would be as good as last time but it was! For those of you who are fans, even of just one song, you have to sometime experience it. This time we got floor tickets and were really close to the stage. I even got to run right up to the stage when they were on our side (after begging Brent to let me go....he thought I might get hurt) The first time I ran up there I got right to the front spot next to Gary (the lead singer) it's not that I'm totally obsessed with them or anything it's just fun to sometimes let loose and have a great time singing, dancing, and screaming...letting the youth come out in us. We got some good photos and video clips. This time with being on the floor, security was watching everyone like hawks for cameras, we were careful to not let too many flashes go off.
After the concert, we had to sit in stand still traffic for a half an hour finally we were able to move and get on the road. We then met up with our friends Russell and Collette for dessert at Sherry's. It was Russell's birthday and since we didn't get to be next to each other we thought it would be nice to have a little treat (of course) and make the night last just a little longer. Brent and I realized we need to get out more and now that we've left Carter once....I can do it again.
Well I best be going. I definately am worn out from staying up so late, and I've got to pack and get ready to fly to Vegas tomorrow for Spring Break. This time Brent will be coming and no one is sick so we can actually be good company and enjoy our stay. Love to all.

After we took this clip he pulled a little girl on the stage sang to her and walked her around the whole stage....so cute and I bet totally made her night!

A New Bed

Well we finally did it and got a single bed for Carter. He has just been sleeping on his crib mattress on the floor in his room but Saturday my parents came up and were able to bring their truck arising the perfect opportunity for us to buy Carter a real "Big Boy" bed and a way to save some money on not having to pay for a delivery charge. Thanks mom and dad for bringing the truck! I was a little nervous at getting him such a big bed and wondering if he'd actually stay in it as well as he did the crib mattress....also a little worried about him being higher off the ground! To my amazement Carter has slept all through the night in his bed and it is so nice. No falls yet and he seems to really love his bed. He was so excited when he first saw it and has worked every day and getting on and off all by himself. Today I can say that he has mastered the both down. My little boy seriously is growing up way too fast.
I'm so happy to see him feeling so much better. He is a COMPLETE different kid, so happy and playful and we have so much fun during the day together!!! His top two molar teeth have broken through and one on the bottom is through too so that adds to his happy attitude.
Brent is staying busy with school and papers. He is such a hard worker and I know that he'll make a great counselor when he's all done. I see him growing and becoming more knowledgeable and I am so proud of him. I know for him it's sometimes hard to see the progress he's making and wonders if it is all worth it being gone day and night and then when he is home he's constantly working on papers.....but it'll pay off and it won't be like this forever. He may have some late evenings but he won't be this bogged down.
Today I went to my Dr.'s appointment and Carter and I heard the heartbeat. It seriously is such an amazing thing to hear. It brings this pregnancy more to a reality. Now that my sickness is pretty well over I seem to sometimes forget that I really am pregnant and that this baby is growing like crazy. I can't wait to meet him/her. Next month we go in for the big ultrasound......and for those of you who don't know we most likely are not going to find out. We think it'll be exciting along with labor and everything to not know. We'll see for sure though when that day comes. Anyway, I better get going love to all!

Missing DADDY

Carter has been really attatched to Brent ever since we got home. Yesterday Carter was just standing at the window waiting and waiting trying not to cry. Every noise he heard he thought it might be his dad coming home. He is finally starting to feel more like himself, thank goodness! I hope this video works....I'm not the brightest at figuring out this computer stuff.

Everyone needs a little TLC

Isn't she so ADORABLE!!!!!

At the park before my little man got sick

My breath of fresh air!!!

Carter sick and sleeping!!!

Our little princess through and through!!!

Well it has been a crazy 2 weeks!!! We woke up Valentine's Day morning to a scary e-mail from Sonia and Ryan informing us that they had to take Maddux to the ER....he had croup and was in the hospital. So the first thing to our minds was that they probably needed help, I don't work and Carter would love to venture out on a little get away. We booked a plane ticket for that afternoon and I was gone before I could even think twice. I was able to get Brent his little gift and let him know how much he ment to me (you know since it was Valentine's Day) before I left and so I didn't feel too bad leaving him all alone for 2 weeks. Well it was nice to get to Vegas to some warmer weather and things were going pretty well. I managed to help Sonia clean her house and I was able to go through all the kids' toys and bleach lysol the heck out of everything. We had a nice day on Saturday getting out and enjoying the park a bit. Monday I woke up to Carter throwing up mainly just water so it wasn't too bad of a clean up job. He seemed to act just fine and by afternoon I laid him down for a nap to him waking up throwing up again and this time he had some diarrhea to go with it. Sonia had to take Jurnee with her to Maddux's dr.'s appt. since I was cleaning up puke. For the whole afternoon he was just pooping in the tub and I'd wash it out fill it back up and repeat. Next day seemed to be way better only one yucky diaper and he seemed to get a little cough that when he would cough a little he'd cough mucus and then puke. So we were down to one puke a day and one disgusting diaper a day and one heck of a fussy little boy. Not to mention he is trying to get 5 teeth. Needless to say once he stopped throwing up mucus his cough got way worse and so I had to cut my visit short with my sister April and I flew out on Saturday. We weren't good company anyway since Carter was hacking up a lung and was very very fussy, except he did smile and laugh and talk when their dog Daisy came around. He learned Daisy's name so quick and would say "hi dayi" he also would bark at her and have little barking contests with her.
Today I took him to the Dr. and once she heard his cough and heard that he'd been in a house highly exposed to croup and RSV she said that he for sure had both. RSV is the virus that can cause croup. So she gave him a sterroid and if he's not doing better by tomorrow then to take him back in for evaluation and then we may start breathing treatments. She thought that him throwing up was probably the start of a virus and so she thought he was towards the end tail of this nasty stuff. I sure hope so. I couldn't imagine if Carter had this at 2 months....my heart breaks for Jurnee. And I'm so thankful that he doesn't have it as severe as Maddux. Hopefully the next time we travel we will be better company and I guess even though I wanted to help so badly and I tried my best it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do because once Carter got sick we were just more "SICK" company adding to the stress. Sonia, Ryan and April and Chris next time we visit we'll try and make it more of a pleasant memorable trip.
Anyway, when we came home I came home to some beautiful roses and can I just say that I know we've been married for almost 5 years and sometimes I think that roses can be a waste of money ( I did really just say that, WOW how my perspective has changed) But sometimes seriously for me they are so beautiful and a breath of fresh air. I look at them and feel happy. So no matter if you're a flower person or not sometimes it really is nice to enjoy some of the beauties that surround us. Carter also came home to a little Elmo chair that he loves it shakes and it's perfect for him. He'll really enjoy it once he starts feeling better. I better get going dishes are piling and so is laundry and I might have a long night ahead of me. SO love to all and sonia and Ryan our prayers are with you and hope that soon all will be well. Ryan HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I hope you guys can get out sometime soon to celebrate you're anniversary and your b-day ( I was going to babysit and let you guys do that....next time) Hopefully my next post will be more positive and I'm sorry that everytime you read about what is going on it's that we all are sick. Can I just say these sick days are on their way OUT!!!!

Monday, February 12, 2007

Well not much has been going on here in our world. I managed to catch the 24 hour flu again last Tuesday. Seriously how does someone catch the flu twice???? Brent had to take the day off to take care of Carter and thanks to my doctor he called in some medicine that I was able to finally take and keep fluids down. On Wednesday we went to the doctor for an ultrasound and saw the little one and everything looks great. The baby was kicking around, it's so amazing everything that we'll be going through in the next 6 months. Last Wednesday Carter started waking up in the night and by Thursday night everything got worse so Friday I took him to the doctor to be completely embarrassed! Taking him in and he was so happy flirting with the receptionist and saying hello to everyone in the room, smiling and laughing.....ummmmm he really was screaming mad in the night. Then we go into see the dr. and he again is so happy and friendly and acting so big the dr. totally didn't think he was sick. But thankfully we found the culprit to his night wakings....ear infection. Of course. And he's getting tons of teeth. Top and bottom gums are swollen. So this week is off to a way better start with Carter once again sleeping through the night and getting back onto his schedule of naps and bedtime. He is so much happier and is back to playing like crazy. Right now he is loving to take out the garbage!!! He throws his diapers away throws anything he finds in the garbage and if we throw something away without letting him do it he gets very upset. He keeps me laughing and chasing after him when I find his little cars or my pan lids in the garbage. Brent is working hard at work and at school! He's got lots of projects getting close to being due so he's pretty much busy every spare moment. I hate seeing him so much stretched to the max, he handles it all so well. I know he'll be so ready for a break in March. We are so dang excited to go to Vegas and before we go there we are going to Rascall Flatts. Now all I am working on is trying to find a sitter (a good one) to start watching Carter before that big night. Because he really does scream bloody murder the whole time if we leave him. So we've got to start this process of him getting use to us leaving for a little while and coming back. Anwyay that is pretty much all that is going on. I hope you all are doing great and have a wonderful sweet Valentines Day.

Photo Shoot

So we had our pictures taken by Cristi who is in Brent's class and is a great photographer. So happy we did it. Here are just a few.

happy days soon to come

Okay, so it seems that it's been a while since my last post so I thought I'd update everyone! Well, I went to Twin last week to see my sister April and her little girl Ashlyn. And I managed to catch the flu while I was there. Ashlyn got it first throwing up during the night all over herself and her mom and I felt so bad for them....I didn't hear a thing the whole night April and my mom were cleaning and vacuuming and showering Ashlyn and I didn't hear a thing. By the next mid-day Ashlyn was back to her complete self and was eating again. Steven my nephew also got the bug the same night. So on Saturday morning I wake up to feeling real queasy, thinking that my morning sickness has hit an all time high and then I realized that this sickness and stomach pains were all too much to be all contributed to pregnancy. I have never thrown up and so hard in my life. I couldn't keep anything in me!!! I couldn't even sleep because I hurt too bad. Because of being pregnant I think it made it all way worse. Everyone there was so good to help with Carter and take care of me. I am very loud when I dry-heave (who isn't)and so I scared Carter so bad along with everyone else including myself. We thought that I may need to go to the emergency room due to the fact that I couldn't keep anything in me and it was seeming to last longer than everyone else's case of the flu. So we called my Aunt who is a practitioner and works for an OBGYN's office and she said to take benedryl and that will slow the throwing up down and that within 24 hours if I haven't stopped to go in if I could stand to wait that long.......well the benedryl didn't work and I still threw up. My dad and brother gave me a blessing and that seemed to help me deal with things a little better. And by 24 hours I was finally able to hold some gingerale down. My parents were kind enough to drive me home on Sunday so that I could rest and make it to my Monday dr's appointment.
We made it to the dr's yesterday and I am seeing a new dr. than I saw with Carter and I really like him. He is awesome!!! So glad I changed. Thanks Jana for the reference. He answered so many questions and assured me that everything is going well. He also bummed me out by stating if I would have waited one more week to come in we could have heard the heart beat...if only I would have known. I am about 9 to 10 weeks and due Aug. 29 like I thought. Brent told him that we would love to have the baby 2 weeks earlier and Dr. Agrusa said well we might just have the baby 2 weeks later. I think I'll just go with whenever he/she comes I'll be ready. No ultrasound though, which I guess is pretty common only 1 ultrasound is what their office does along with a lot of other offices. Kind of bummed about that being that it really does something when you get to see that little peanut it just helps make all the sickness seem more worth it. Even though I know this little one is there and growing it just does something when you actually see it.
Carter managed to not get this bug thank goodness!!! He is growing like crazy and learning new things everyday. He is such a sweety and loves giving hugs and kisses of course on his terms though. He loved Ashlyn and would hug her so tight! He loves kids so much. While we were in Twin he loved the babies and saw a play doll and would put the baby in the little car seat and rock it and then hop in himself and hold the baby and rock it. He also would poke out all the babies eyes and take their bottles away. I can see it now I think he will love his new baby but won't leave it alone at all and be so excited to point out all the body parts. I am excited for the two of them to be so close and ya it might be a little more of a challenge for me at first but when they get older I only can hope they will be the best of friends being that they will only be a grade apart in school. Anyway I better get going Carter is sleeping and I only have an hour to try and get this post done along with everything else. Love to all. Hope everyone is doing well especially those with new little ones and those who are expecting since it seems like everyone is getting ready to have little ones.

Things to look forward to in 2007

Well happy New Year to everyone. We hope you all had great holidays and rang in the new year with lots of excitement. We actually stayed up to ring in the new year with some friends and let's just say I haven't stayed up that late in a long time and it pretty much killed me. The next day we enjoyed our time together and then went over to Russell and Collette's house again to watch the Fiesta Bowl and wow oh wow that was absolutely the best football game that I've ever seen. We then had Jim and Helen come in town for a couple days...it was so nice to get to see them even though it was just for a short time. Thanks for making the drive to see us. Now we are trying to get back into the swing of things. Brent started school this week and Carter caught some flu bug. He has had the worst diarrhea ever!!! Poor little guy. He then developed a terrible sore bum and so every time he pooped we rushed him to the tub to rinse him off. He got so used to getting in the tub that once his bum got all better he couldn't quite understand that we change his diaper instead of giving him a bath. He got this bug on Friday and still has it. I pretty much loose my stomach everytime so hopefully he won't have it too much longer. Thanks for Brent he really helps me when he's home. Yesterday morning it was a major blow out in his high chair and Brent totally took care of him. What a good husband. He gags too though.
I've been trying to catch up on house work and laundry and everything, I've just been so tired, sick and just not feeling like it at all. Which brings me to my next subject. For Christmas I thought it would be so fun to surprise Brent with another gift (other than the Les Mis tickets) so he opened a little bag with a note inside stating:

I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands, 'nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song, or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come summer time,
ThatÂ’s when they say I'm due.
I'll be your second child; I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait, because of all the love we'll know.
So have a Merry Christmas
A wish to you from me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this great family!

So YES baby number 2 is on it's way. Brent really seriously couldn't believe it even with the pregnancy tests right in front of his face. From my calculations we will have our new little bundle the end of August. But I haven't yet made it to the doctor. That's on my list to do. We were going to wait to tell everyone until I went but it's so hard to keep secrets. So we hope everything is okay and going well, since I'm sick that is a good sign too bad that being sick is "good". I am about 7 weeks and it seems like I've been sick since the day I got pregnant. Before it was like I don't remember what it felt like to have morning sickness.....it must have not been that bad. Then way too soon it all came back to me and now I don't remember what it feels like to just feel normal. And with this pregnancy I feel like my bones and joints have aged! My whole body is so achy and uncomfortable..... I haven't even got a belly to complain about yet. Hopefully once I get out of this sick stage I can really get out to the gym and go swimming and get on a good exercise routine to help with everything. And with this pregnancy I've vowed to myself that I am going to try my hardest to not wish it all away too fast. WIth Carter being the first I was so excited for the unknown I couldn't wait to go through every stage now I know a little more of what to expect and what's coming so I think that I can just enjoy the time that I do have with this little one inside. Plus I know as well as Brent knows all to well what is at the end and I think I can just wait and wait for that time to come.
So that is what we've been up to. We hope all is going well with everyone else. We love you all and hope to see some of you soon!!!

Brent finding out the BIG NEWS

We finally put together Carter's present from Santa (Grandma Helen put it together)

White Christmas!!!!

We got a beautiful WHITE Christmas. It was so nice having some snow. Carter and I went out in it and had a blast. He wasn't too sure at first but soon warmed right up and even stuck his face in the snow eating it. He loved it!!!

We actually made a snow man. No pictures of the snow man though. I haven't done that for years. It felt so good to get out and just play. The kid in me came right back out.
We all had a great Christmas visit with my parents and brothers and their families. We missed everyone else but had a nice relaxing time. Carter got spoiled and his uncles really spoiled him by introducing him to PEPSI. Yeah I just about lost it because Carter really likes it, and now recognizes the pepsi can. Not FUNNY at all. I guess it's pay back time.
Well for Brent this year I decided that Santa has so much fun doing surprises for gifts. So I decided to have a couple presents be surprises. I got Les Mis tickets for him and to throw him way off I put it in this HUGE box stuffed it with some little dorky gifts like dry pack food meals, tons of REAL mandarines like the ones from Canada, some pop and then in a little tiny box were the tickets. He thought I was quite stupid at first but when he finally opened the final package he was so excited. Couldn't believe it. We have been wanting to go to Les Mis for quite some time. Carter got lots of presents, a little overwhelming for him, so we are going to wait to take all of them out of their packages and slowly give him one when he gets bored with some of his toys. It's just a little hard having his birthday in December getting lots of toys, then more at Christmas. So we'll space it out a little.
I reallly enjoyed Christmas this year. I was having a little bit of a hard time getting completely in the spirit but once we pulled out our Forgotton Carols CD it totally hit me and helped me to feel the true spirit of CHRISTmas. I am so thankful for Christ and his sacrifice. Anyone who hasn't been to or read or listened to the Forgotton Carols, well you need to it's so good and I can't wait for next year until we get to go to the play. I also had the pleasure of making Christmas bread with my mom. Something that I couldn't stand growing up but now LOVE!!!! It is an ALL DAY process. It has 5 pounds of flour a pound of butter and candied fruit and slivered almonds, golden raisins and it is so yummy. We started at 7 in the morning and started baking it around 9:30 that night. Ya like I said all day. Because it's so heavy it takes quite a while to rise and then you punch it down and let it rise again. Then you braid it and let it rise again. Even though it takes a while it is worth the wait. Carter even helped knead the dough and roll it out to braid his own little piece. He is such a funny little guy. So social and wanting to be right in the middle of doing what we are doing.
Well we hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you all a happy new year!!!!

WELCOME JURNEE

JURNEE LOUISE WYNDER

Born Dec. 21st. We are so excited to have another beautiful little girl in the family. She's got the most gorgeous dark hair. She is so adorable!!! We can't wait to get to Las Vegas and get to see Jurnee. Congratulations to the Wynder family, Jurnee will be so happy to have come to such a great family. We are so happy for you all. We miss you and love you. It is so so so hard to see pictures and see her on ichat and not be able to hold her or smell her. So give her lots of loves for us. We love you.
